                                  Who We Are

Larry Ensor

A forth generation horsemen I grew up surround by just about every aspect of the breeding, racing, showing, Steeplechasing of Thoroughbred horses. My father was one of the principals in the Thoroughbred auction company Fasig Tipton for more then 30 years. My mother was born on My Lady's Manor in Monkton Maryland and grew up in a horse family. Riding from the time she could walk. A top show rider in her day before turning her attention to raising and training race horses with my step father also a top show rider. The well known Timber race The My Lady's Manor run every April for over 100 years was started by my great grandparents. I believe one of my first Christmas presents was a pitch fork and I learned how to use it quite efficiently shortly there after. Save a few years during my late teens there has hardly been a day since that horses in one way or another do no make up a large part of life. I worked as a groom at the race track and the various yearling and 2 year old in training sales in my formative years. I was very fortunate indeed to have lived in Ireland and given the opportunity to intern with the BBA Ireland, one of the world's leading bloodstock agencies for many years. From there I spent 4 years with Fasig Tipton in their private sales division as agent and advisor on the purchase and sale of bloodstock holdings both privately and at public auction. I am a fully qualified appraiser which was one of my duties while with Fasig Tipton and in the years since. I left Fasig Tipton to open my own Bloodstock Agency after moving to Lexington Kentucky in 1986. Where I spent almost 20 years before moving my base of operation and expertise to the Unionville area of Pennsylvania where our farm is located. I took with me a wealth of knowledge and understanding of the inner workings of the business that can only be learned from living and working on the Wall Street of the Thoroughbred industry, Lexington, Kentucky. I am on a first name bases with most of the industries leaders through out the world. If I don't know them I know someone that does. Even if you have been in the business for years you maybe surprised at how much I can add to your success. If you are just starting out or thinking about getting into racing and or breeding of Thoroughbred horses you will find my expertise invaluable and will greatly increase your learning curve along saving a considerable amount of money and frustration.
My fees are based on a number of factors so feel free to call and discuss.

Laura Ensor

Laura also grew with horses and has been fox hunting and showing since she was a child.

After spending several years living abroad she made the mistake of coming back and marrying Larry. Giving up Rome for a life in a barn. In addition to speaking horse she is fluent in Italian. She is instrumental in the re-schooling of our OTTBs especially for fox hunting. She is a patient instructor and enjoys teaching from the ground up. Beginners especially.

She is totally hands on from breeding shed runs, foaling, and handling the duties as an assistant to her trainer husband Larry when running Steeplechase horses.

She is also cheerier then Larry
